The Demon Lord has Become Attached to me
When I turned around, I saw the door open and Pecola entering.
Harukara was on her toes almost involuntarily. She was put into a pretty dangerous situation by the demon lord after all. Leica was also standing ready. However, the two were getting into position for different reasons. Harukara was ready to flee, while Leica looked ready for battle.
“Pecola, what is it…?”
“I came to ask if everyone has had their meals yet. If not, then I’m wondering if we could eat together.”
I see. That wasn’t a very bad proposition. Rather, once I heard the word meal, I realized that I was absolutely starving.
I mean, I couldn’t very well eat until I could guarantee that everyone was safe. In that regard, the human body could really read the mood.

Reunited with the Family
At that moment, the door opened.
“Boy was I so scared, master… They were just about to put me into a water chamber to torture me…”
Harukara popped in.
But at that moment I was just about to give Pecola a kiss…
Because of that, the kiss was interrupted, but Harukara clearly witnessed the attempt.
“Eh… Master and the demon lord are togeth… E, Eh, Ehhhh!”
Harukara was obviously panicking.
“Calm down Harukara! No seriously, calm down!”

Tea with the Demon Lord
“Pecola, make sure Harukara is safely released. That girl had no ill will, I can guarantee it. Well, even if she didn’t mean it, she would probably still get executed for assaulting you… But it’ll be annulled if you were to order it right?”
“Understood onee-sama. I will absolutely not allow any harm to come to onee-sama’s friends.”
Pecola (I’ve decided to just call her this) went over to the pile of knocked over demon leaders and said, “Azusa-san had no intention of attacking me. Do not regard her as an enemy.”
The leaders who were still conscious prostrated themselves before her.

Duel with the Demon Lord
The demon lord brandished the sword she used for self defense.
Things have really taken a turn…
“Demon lord-sama, I’ve brought this wake up medicine to try to bring you back to consciousness. I have no intention of harming you.”
“But I can only see that green-colored drug as poison.”
Frankly it did have a lurid color that made it seem like poison no matter how you looked at it…
“That’s just what it seems. Once you take it, I’m sure you’ll be saying ‘Ah~, so nasty! But give me another!’”
“There’s no way I can believe that! If you want me to believe you so badly, then defeat this Provat Pecola Aryess in a duel to prove your innocence!”

To the Demon Lord
I donned the disguise and left through the window with Vahnia.
“Now then, I shall be leading you to where demon lord-sama is resting. Please don’t forget your role as a doctor.”
“No problem. You’ve even given me some tools of the trade.”
Aside from the doctor’s attire, I was given a wooden box full of medicine. I swapped the contents of one of the glass bottles with the wake up medicine and sealed the cap. Beelzebub was quite meticulous.

A Helper Arrives
“She should wake up if we can get this into her mouth. As a side note, this stuff is crazy good for your health.”
I’ve seen these sorts of punishment games a lot on TV. Stuff like making someone drink super bitter tea.
Making too much of a fuss would would alert the guards, so rather than shouting it out, Farufa made a gesture that seemed to say “Alright~ You did it~”.
“Okay then, so the problem now is how to bring this over to where the demon lord is resting…”
“Do you know where she is?” inquired Sharusha.
“Honesty I have no clue. She was knocked unconscious, so maybe she’s in her bedroom or perhaps a sick bay of some sort…”

The Create a Wake-Up Medicine Plan
All of us except Harukara were taken to the guest room. It was a large room that would house all of us, similar to the room aboard the leviathan. It seems that the demon race had a tendency for everyone to share a big room.
“My apologies, but please refrain from leaving the room until tomorrow. The room includes a restroom and a bath. We’ll be bringing in meals when the time comes.”
The demon was being polite on the surface, but he was essentially saying “You’re a suspect, so don’t go anywhere.” I’m glad it’s just house arrest though. They’re not keeping a careful watch on us, so I have a few methods I can use. Yup, quite a few.

The Azusa Family’s Great Crisis
Harukara started to turn pale.
She then got on her knees instantly. Actually, she’s doing something that looks pretty much like a Japanese dogeza.
“I’m terribly sorry Demon Lord-sama! All that talk of fooling you were all just figures of speech and I didn’t mean it in the literal sense! Completely, absolutely honest! Please believe me!”
What she said was kind of rude… and probably not ok…

The Adorable Demon Lord-Sama
“Wait, demon lord?”
It never even crossed my mind that I’d have to meet someone so scary.
“It’s only natural that the medal of honor is awarded by the ruler of the country, so of course demon lord-sama will be in attendance. Since she is a kind person, there’s nothing for you to fear no?”
“D, Demon lord… What do I do…”
On hearing the words “demon lord”, Harukara started sweating for reasons that were entirely unrelated to the heat.
“If I happen to make a careless mistake, I’ll be killed… She’ll skin me then toss me into a fire…”
“There’s no way she would! Hey you, if you insult demon lord-sama, I’ll personally skin you and toss you into a fire!”
So she still gets tossed in huh.
